Governance
Our investment governance committees, supported by our independent risk and research experts, monitor and review the performance of the Investment Matrix and our MPS, as well as maintaining areas of due diligence and adherence to regulatory requirements.
We continuously monitor processes and challenge the information gathered from each Investment Manager, as well as comparing our range to a set of dynamic secondary benchmarks; the Private Client Indices by Asset Risk Consultants, and the Investment Association Sectors. Both benchmarks employ a similar methodology, amalgamating a range of DFM and fund solutions into comparable indices.
We review the MPS ranges and Matrix funds monthly. At each quarter we conduct a thorough deep-dive analysis to get ‘under the bonnet’ of each solution and ensure Centralised Investment Proposition users are updated with the latest information.
During volatile times, extra-ordinary investment committee meetings will be conducted as necessary to ensure the solutions ongoing suitability for inclusion within the Matrix. Funds may be suspended at any point subject to further investigation of any change that has taken place affecting the running of the fund.
On a quarterly basis, the MPS range undergoes a further governance process ensuring the ongoing alignment with their mandates.
The governance processes are progressive and subject to evolution, with the delivery of better client outcomes paramount.
